Our Interior Designer Panel hit it out of the park with their discussion. CSC Toronto Chapter thanks everyone that attended or contributed. Let's keep the ball rolling this season with another amazing presenter with a topic we never hear enough about.

Presentation Description
Exterior ventilation louvers are a critical yet often misunderstood component of the mechanical system and can have a major impact on the performance of the building envelope and the building's aesthetics. Accommodating the mechanical consultant’s requirements and the architect's vision at the same time can make the design process complex and challenging. Louver manufacturers offer a wide range of options which can make the selection process seem daunting.
During this presentation Rob Simpson will break down the key factors for selecting louvers, discuss coordination between architectural and mechanical disciplines, and provide guidelines for specifying and incorporating louvers into the building's exterior.

Rob Simpson,
Architectural Accounts Manager
Rob Simpson is an architectural technologist that brings 43 years of experience in exterior ventilation louvers to anyone that will listen with passion, honesty and a little humor. He has amassed a wide range of knowledge and experience in a variety of commercial building products touching on many specification divisions throughout his career. Rob has enjoyed a broad range of roles including technical sales support, budgeting, estimating, consultative sales, sales management, project management, overseeing shop drawings and installation. With a goal of providing a seamless customer experience from start to finish, Rob's department at Ventex becomes an integral member of a construction project team.
